A two-hour course on the layers beneath AI, written for First Nations peoples: staff of a Nation government or mandated organization, business owners and entrepreneurs, students, and elected leadership and board members. It works up the stack in order: the Nation's authority over its own data, the infrastructure these systems physically run on, machine learning and language models from frontier systems to models a Nation can run on its own equipment, the records function that determines what any of it is fed, and finally how to use these systems and where to stop. Twelve sub-modules, graded assessment throughout, and a certificate on completion. No prior technical knowledge is assumed.i
